MOT - Movie Date

Yesterday I went to see the movie Batman The Dark Knight Rises with my husband and our friends. Almost everything I had on was from target. Both the purple knitted top and the jeans are by Mossimo and the shoes are Dolce Vita. I also wore a black cami from F21.

For my accessories, I wore this set I just got from a store called Q. This reminds me of Tory Burch.

I used one of my favorite palettes, Wet n Wild's Lust, for this look.

MOT - Not Feeling so Good

Tuesday, I was still feeling a little sick but I needed to go to the post office and pick up my girls at school so I just threw on my ever dependable white v-neck shirt, a pair of denim shorts and my converse sneakers.

 

For my accessories, I wore my black heart and neon Harajuku necklace, a black adidas watch, a neon pyramid bracelet from F21, a black and white bracelet I made and another black bracelet with a buckle (can't remember where I got it).

MOT - Dinner Date

I went out to dinner with my girlfriend Jean to celebrate my birthday and this is the outfit  I wore.

Gray top is from JC Penney. You can see on the next picture that it has gold shimmer on the fabric. I paired it with some dark skinny jeans and my Candies purple and blue pumps I got from Kohls.

 

 

 

For the accessories, I wore a rose gold heart necklace by Dana Buchman, my Fossil rose gold watch, a magenta bow bangle from Target, and a 3pc chevron ring from Target.

MOT- Lunch Date

I went out to lunch with my husband and his co-workers and this is what I wore.

The polo shirt is from Aeropostale. I got the brown leather belt from Target. My denim shorts are from Kohls and I'm wearing coral ballet flats by Rock & Republic. This is probably my most worn shoe this summer. I just love them. Below is a closer pix of these flats.

 

 

For my accessories, I wore a big white watch, my BCBG coral and turquoise bangle, a white pyramid style bracelet from Forever 21 and a gold chain and coral bead bracelet I made.



 



 

 

Here is my eye look.

 

 

I used the Benefit creaseless cream shadow in Bunny Hop on the lid, the reddish pink color in the NYX Perpetual palette on the crease and the burgundy color in the Wet n Wild Knock on Wood palette on the outer corners of my eyes.

MOT - My Outfit Today

The white shorts are from Kohls.  The black ribbed tank is from Wal-mart. I got the plaid shirt from Wal-mart a long time ago. It's from the Miley Cyrus line.  The black leather belt is from Old Navy. The black high heeled combat boots are from Ross.

 

This star ring is one of my faves and I got it at Forever 21. I finished the look with this black leather cuff from Kohls.

 

 

Here is the eye look I did today. I used my Tarte Royal Collection Palette.

ONE BIG HAUL FOR ONE SMALL PRICE

I recently went on a shopping trip and I couldn't believe all the good deals I found. They were sooo good that I just had to share it. I came home with a dress, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 shirts, a bikini top, a blazer and a pair of shoes and I got it all for about $50.....sooooo AWESOME!

BANGLES, BRACELETS AND CUFFS....OH MY!

Lately I have been obsessing over bracelets. Whether it be friendship bracelets, leather ones, gold chains, bangles or cuffs, it really doesn't matter...I want them all! It just adds so much to any outfit and the best part is that there is no right or wrong way of stacking them. You can put all different colors and textures together to create the perfect arm candy.

Rockin' the Neon Trend

I'm sure by now you've noticed what the hottest trend this year is....yes it's NEON.  I am totally loving this but that's because I'm not one to be scared of getting caught wearing a neon top or shirt. I know a lot of you out there are probably wanting to try it out but are just not sure if you can rock these colors. My advice to you is to just do it in small doses. It could be a pair of earrings like these ones that I got from Forever21. I love that these are small but still add that awesome pop of color to your outfit. The best part is that it was only $4.80 for 6 pairs.

You could also go with a necklace or bracelet that has some neon accents on it like this Harajuku one that I have. It's edgy and has just the right amount of color in it.

Now if you are feeling a little bit more daring, you could always go with some cute neon pumps or a purse like this one by Teen Vogue.

Lastly, neon colored nail polish or hair accessories would also be good things to try and it wont be so hard to pull off.

Whatever it is that you decide to try, just remember that the only way it will look good is if you exude confidence!
